A temporary resident visa (TRV) issued by a visa office is an official counterfoil document that is placed in a person’s passport if the temporary resident applicant has met all the requirements for their admission to Canada. Just holding a TRV does not promise you entry to Canada. This is because it is a privilege to enter Canada as a foreign national, not a right. There are options to apply online whereas apply on paper also exist. You will be required to provide fingerprints and photos after you complete the application process.
