The Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) two major pathways that are economic immigration and refugee resettlement. With the help of this program two sets of workers are getting benefited which are skilled refugees who wish to immigrate to Canada through existing economic programs and also employers with a new pool of qualified candidates to fill job openings.
Canadian Government made it much easier for skilled refugees or other displaced people to migrate to Canada with 2 ways:
1. Apply through 3 selected economic programs which are:
Atlantic Immigration Program
Provincial Nominee Program
Rural and Northern Immigration Program (RNIP)
2. Directly apply to EMPP which is in reference to federal EMPP.
This consists of a job offer not a job offer stream. Work experience, Education and language requirements should be met.
Application and biometric fees for the applicant and their dependents will be waived for these programs. The review and the whole process of application will be completed within 6 months or less in most cases. All costs of medical exams will be also covered under the Interim Federal Health Program. You also may have access to Immigration Loans Program if your application is approved which includes travel costs, pre-arrival services, the right of permanent residents fee.
The applicants may also be eligible to access the EMPP-specific Canadian Orientation Abroad programme which would help you to settle in Canada. If applicants choose to apply for an economic immigration program through a regional EMPP also the process will be made easier to be eligible and get to apply. The applicants will be entitled to use a loan to meet financial requirements to support yourself and your family to settle in Canada.
