This economic immigration program regulated by the government of British Columbia’s Immigration Program Branch sanctions the province to pick and nominate foreign skilled workers, students and entrepreneurs to fulfill British Columbia’s market needs, support government priorities and thereby contribute to its economy.
BC PNP Tech: Tech employers in BC get a continued ability to recruit and retain international skilled workers in these tech backgrounds making sure that there is worker shortage locally. This program has already supported more than 6000 tech workers to be nominated for the application of permanent residence from the beginning of May 2017 since its launch. With this program in-demand foreign workers and international students get permanent residency even without a LMIA. They also get to apply for a period till they receive permanent residency on work permit options.
Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP): This initiative is an open pathway for skilled refugees to become permanent residents in CanadaThe target audience for this program is 50EMPP skilled refugees referred by designated NGO Partners, which is even expanded outside Metro Vancouver Regional District.
Entrepreneur Immigration : This stream is the major reason for entrepreneurs to get attracted to BC and do investment and manage their own business.
